This is my little angel JonAnn at her Christmas Pageant. She attends
Sister Remedios Kindergarten where I'm happy to say she's doing very well.
Is she an angel? Not on your life. You should see the sneaky way she
smacks her younger brother with a hotwheels track and then comes running
to me before he can exact his revenge. Then I ask her what happens, and
suddenly she's like President Reagan answering questions about the Iran
Contra scandal. "I'm sorry Daddy, I don't remember."
Fortunately, she was blessed with her mommy's
good looks. Although she takes after her dad in the tooth decay department.
Notice the mouth full of silver. This picture on the right, by the way,
is a favorite picture of mine from a few years ago...
On this particlar occasion, Dinah had her auditioning for a Japanese
commercial being shot on Saipan. She didn't get the part, but only because
they decided to go with older children instead. Her toddler shot at stardom
down the tubes. Rats!
While I joke about Joni being spoiled, she is a delightful little monkey
most of the time. She loves to sing, tell jokes and color.
Her favorite riddle for a long time was: "What's green and bumpy
and tastes sour?"
"A Pickle!"
C'mon, laugh, she's five years old...
This is Joni at age two. There's no particular story that goes behind
this picture, except that the only reason Dinah took it was to finish a
roll of film. Ironically, it probably was the best shot she took.The original
background wasn't so nifty so I changed it using one of Photoshop's nifty
plug in effects.
