Visitors requiring a VEP must have a local sponsor who has provided Affidavits of Sponsorship and Support (if the sponsor is an individual or business) and other required documents (if the sponsor is a hotel or travel agent).

The Division of Immigraiton may, in its discretion, allow you to "self-sponsor," provided that you submit a Declaration of Financial Ability with satisfactory supporting evidence.
